I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Horsforth West End.  West End is a vibrant and creative, community focused one form entry primary school with Nursery - small in size but bursting at the seams with creativity, warmth and curiosity to learn!  We pride ourselves on our ambitious curriculum, our nurturing ethos and out wonderful local community of children and families. Our school values are to show personal responsibility, social responsibility and environmental responsibility -  looking after ourselves, each other and our world.  Our school curriculum threads key learning linking to our values; we have designed our school curriculum to challenge our pupils academically and secure their understanding of how, through their personal responsibility, social responsibility and environmental responsibility, they can make a lasting positive impact on the wider world.  The school behaviour expectations are based around our school values and children are praised for demonstrating personal, social and environmental responsibility.
