What service do you provide?
We provide activities such as wake up shake up, messy play, Theraplay and multisport. These activities encourage children to learn through play and build up positive relationships with the staff and their peers. The children also have access to other areas such as the sand area, creative area, and our large outdoor area. We take regular trips to our trim trail which is on the school field near the night owl's class. Throughout the year we take opportunities to learn about cultural and religious events.
What are the opening times?
Morning wraparound session: from 8.00 am to 8.45 am
After School wraparound: from 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm (Monday to Thursday)
3:15 pm to 5:00 pm (Friday)
Do you provide food?
We do not provide breakfast on the morning sessions however, we do provide a light snack for the children for the afternoon session.
Who will look after my children?
All staff who work at Cygnets, work within the school and are familiar with the children.
What do you charge?
Morning sessions will cost: £3.78 Afternoon sessions will cost: £11.34
(This is in line with the FEEE hourly rate for EYFS providers of £5.04 per hour.)
In the event of late collection – 5 minutes of more after club closure time (5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 5pm on Friday) additional charges will be added: Collection of 5-15 minutes late will incur an additional charge of £5 to cover additional staff costs. Collection more than 15 minutes after the closure time will incur an additional charge of £20 to cover additional staff costs and on costs for resulting staff child care.
In order to forecast numbers and plan staffing ratios and food provision carefully, a minimum of a half a term is required when cancelling West End Primary Wraparound.
Fees will be payable at the start of each half term, invoices will go live on parent mail by the end of the first week of term. We accept FEEE hours, childcare vouchers and tax free childcare vouchers as payment; please ensure you send your tax free childcare reference to nicky.lloyd@westendprimary.org.uk so that your payment can be allocated from Leeds council. Please also be aware that the receipt of the tax free child care payments can be delayed going through the Leeds City Council system and this may show as unpaid in the school account for a short period of time. In the event of absence due to illness payments is still required as staffing has been allocated. All monies are managed via the School office. All enquiries regarding bookings must be directed to the School Office.
Please settle all outstanding balances no later than two weeks after the start of each half term. A child’s continued place at West End Primary Wraparound is dependent on continued payment of fees and non payment/regular late payment will result in your child’s place being cancelled until all arrears have been paid in full.
