Mutual Respect and Tolerance

We operate a zero-tolerance approach to any kind of discrimination, our school rule 'show respect' puts mutual respect at the heart of our community.

Assemblies - Journeys Project - a cross curricular focus. Children shared family stories of journeys and were able to share examples of families who had fled religious persecution in Europe at the end of the 19th century and in the 1940s.

RE - we follow the Leeds syllabus for Religious Education where RE is approached through an enquiry model enabling children to understand the range of faiths that make up our culture, engage with current ideas and be able to respond in a reasoned and critical manner.
