Children of every age and ability have an entitlement to access the National Curriculum.
In the National Curriculum there are three core subject areas: English, Mathematics and Science. There are seven foundation subjects taught; History, Geography, Design Technology Information and Communication Technology, Art, Music and Physical Education.
In addition, cross-curricular themes are taught including PSHCE (Personal Social and Health Education) SEAL (Social and Economic Aspects of Learning), Economic Awareness, Spiritual, Moral and Cultural Development and Religious Education which is covered in class topic work and in assemblies.
