Year 3 Nightingale Class

Nightingale Class is a happy, busy, fun and friendly classroom where we work and play well together. We are always nice to others and enjoy making friends. We will always have a smile on our face and help where we can.

We love working in our classroom areas, creating models, exploring construction and doing arts and crafts to support our learning and reading from a vast range of books.

Week 22.2.18

Welcome back after a lovely half term. It was wonderful to hear about all the exciting things the children got up to over the holidays.

Nightingales have been very creative this week in both writing and science. In science they have finished off their work on rocks by making their own fossils and in writing they have written 500 word stories on any topic of their choosing. It was fantastic to see all the imaginative and creative ideas. Next week we will be doing lots of activities all around stories in preparation for World Book Day on 1st March.

In Maths Nightingales have been learning all about time and how we can tell the time using an analogue clock. They have played a variety of games around time to help them with this learning.
